Google Adsense is a very easy program to get started with. Many people will say a website is needed to have adsense, and everyone knows setting up a website is not very easy to set up, so the alternative is starting a blog either with blogger or wordpress which only takes a few minutes to set up.

First off open an account with Google Adsense wich only takes a couple of minutes. Second start a blog with Blogger.com or Wordpress.com. I would highly suggest to make sure the URL and the Tittle have the same keywords and this way your blog can be found more easily in the search engines. I personally like wordpress better than blogger because you have more control about the look of your blog. It might seem complicated at first because of so many options but once you learn the basics you will see how unique you can make your blog according to what you want to present to your audience.

Once you have your blog set up then it is time to start posting in your blog. Once you have about five posts with enough content then it is tiime to add Google Adsense to your blog. Open your Google Adsense account, go to set up and choose adsense for content then either choose text ads or image ads or a combination of both. In my opinion it is best to go with text ads since statistically they seem to do better than image ads but that is entirely up to you. Once done you need to choose the size of the ads that will be displayed within your blog. I mostly choose 468 X 60 banner because it gives you two ads that you can place on top of your content and they do not seem too invasive. Again you may use what best works for you as well. You may also add a 120 X 600 to be placed on the side of your blog. next step is to choose the look of your ads; make sure the color and font is similar to that of your blog, background is the same as that of your blog and this way it will look as if the ads are part of your blog. Next you may choose a channel and this way you can track the performance of the ads displayed in your blog. Once done submit a tittle to this set up and get the code to be inserted within your blog.

Once you have your adsense code you may go to blogger and add the code under settings, layout, add a gadget. Adding adsense to wordpress is a little more complicated, You need to go under editor and on the editor menu you may have choices for adsense depending on the theme that you have chosen. Once the code has been inserted the Google Adsense crawler will look at your content and place ads relevant to your content, the more specific your content is the more relevant your ads will be and the more likely your viewers will click on the ads and ultimately the more money you can make.

In conclusion open an account with Google Adsense, set up your blog, start posting, insert adsense code into your blog and build a readership base to start making money with Google Adsense
